Please note— herringbone chains are intended to be worn as standalone chains. We recommend heavily against placing pendants onto a herringbone link— doing so may irreversibly damage said link.

The herringbone links are very thin gold strands that are woven together at a sharp angle to give it its flat appearance. Because of how thin they are— the links are not very resistant to damage. If a link is to break (ie. via crushing forces or being bent past their point of flexibility) it cannot be repaired to a blemish-free state. To ensure that the herringbone chain stays in good condition please take caution when removing/putting on clothing. Please also take off the chain and store properly prior to sleeping/strenuous physical activity.
