Hey there Marqueeta! To explain— the restocking fee is in place as payment processors (ie. credit card companies; PayPal) charge us a nonrefundable fee each time a client pays us. Moreover there are costs associated with postage and insurance; the time/labor required to prepare and fulfill your order. These costs adds up to around 15% of the total cost of the piece; hence the 15% rate for the fee.
Contrary to your implication we actually do want clients to be aware with what they're purchasing; nobody likes paying these fees and we don't like forcing it onto our clients either! For this reason, the exact size measurements for the piece are listed in its respective page; we also have a suggestion on each page to e-mail any questions regarding sizing prior to the purchase. I'm quite responsive!
As we have a full page dedicated to our return policy and I can't reasonably say that it constitutes as fine print. Payment processors side with the client overwhelmingly whenever there is a reasonable doubt but in this instance, they upheld the fee (meaning they believed it was fair.) Please be understanding!
